1. Olive Oil-Rose Makeup-Removing Cleanser

This calming makeup-removing face cleanser gives your skin a thorough clean while also hydrating and pampering it. Rose water continually cleanses, refreshes, and moisturises, while olive oil actively eliminates makeup and dirt.

Rose water for all skin types

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup distilled water
  • 1/4 cup rose water
  • 1 teaspoon liquid castile soap
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

In a little bottle, combine all the ingredients and give it a gentle shake. To use, dampen the skin with warm water; lather the cleanser between your hands; massage the face; and then completely rinse.

2. All-Natural Makeup-Removing Wipes

There’s no doubting the simplicity and portability of makeup-removing wipes, but the majority of brands available on the market are filled with questionable substances, and I’ve even purchased a number of them that don’t even effectively remove makeup! Making your own makeup-removing wipes is a ton of fun and gives you the assurance that your product contains no dangerous chemicals. These wipes completely dissolve any recalcitrant mascara or liner.

What you will need:
  • 1 paper towel roll, cut in half (You’ll want to do this with a large serrated knife. Leave the paper towels on the roll and “saw” them in half, creating two short paper towel rolls. Remove the cardboard tube.)
  • 1 small, round resealable plastic container that will fit the width of the paper towel roll
  • 2 cups distilled water
  • 1 tablespoon unrefined virgin coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon jojoba oil
  • 1 teaspoon vitamin E oil
Melt coconut oil in a double boiler or in the microwave for 15 to 25 seconds, or until it becomes liquid. (If you don’t have a double boiler, you can just put the two ingredients in a Pyrex measuring cup, put it in a pan with a little water in it, and heat it until the wax melts.) Place all liquid ingredients, including coconut oil, in a plastic container with a lid. Shake the container to mix the ingredients after covering it with the lid. Open the container, add one-half of a roll of paper towels, and let them absorb the liquid. The roll may need to “marinate” for 5 to 10 minutes in order to soak up all the liquid.
Once the roll has soaked through completely, press it down until it fills the container completely. Put a lid on the container and keep it somewhere cool and dry for storage. Use moist wipes to clean a dry face, paying particular attention to any places where makeup has been applied heavily. If necessary, rinse or use a cleanser afterwards.

3. Olive Oil Eye-Makeup Remover For All Skin Types

Olive oil is fantastic for instantly removing tenacious eye makeup and hydrating the sensitive eye area. I’ve tried several commercial eye makeup removers, but nothing compares to my homemade version!

Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon liquid castile soap
  • 1/4 cup distilled water

In a tiny bottle, mix all the ingredients together. Shake the container well before each use. Use a cotton ball or pad and a small amount of the product to gently remove eye makeup.

4. Oatmeal-Yoghurt Cleanser For All Skin Types

Oatmeal is a skincare superhero since it moisturises, exfoliates, calms, and balances the skin. It makes a wonderful exfoliating and moisturising cleanser when combined with yoghurt. You can also use it as a mask for 5 to 10 minutes.

  • 1/2 cup plain yoghurt
In a bowl, combine the ingredients to make a paste. Gently massage the cleanser all over your face before rinsing it off completely or letting it sit as a mask for the time mentioned above.

5. Refreshing Cucumber Toner

Another fantastic toner to store in the fridge for a moisturising, refreshing pick-me-up! Rose and cucumber water moisturises, calms, and hydrates the skin without being greasy or overpowering.

  • 1/4 cup rose water
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable glycerine
